I have a lot of "things" in my garage and I have nowhere to store them. This pair of sturdy shelves bolts to the cleats of my garage and gives me the shelf space I want and need. I really liked that the seller included a cardboard template so I could mark the holes on the rivets. There's even a tiny bubble level to attach to the template to make sure my shelves are level. This is an unexpected bonus and plus! It comes with long 2.7" stainless steel screws with 1/2" screw head and washers for them. It's all in the 1st picture. For a large lag bolt like this, I drill a small 1/8" diameter hole to limit bolt splitting since these bolts are .29" in diameter. hard-to-reach bolt. I have lots of sockets and ratchets to do this. 3 screws per post, 26 of them included - 2 extra are welcome! There are also plastic anchors for masonry - that would be hard work! 2 large steel shelves are hinged in the center (last picture) and supported by vertical arms. Each shelf can hold up to 800 pounds if made of good quality hardwood that has no rot or strength issues. My garage has good quality wood so no I'm going to attach these shelves to their supports with the stainless steel straps I have. The shelves come with built-in blocks to prevent the shelves from sliding forward or backward, but to a lesser extent for the side ones.
