5-8-2021, Revision A: Good speakers for the price and for my application. I used mine on my Elecraft K3 Ham Radio. I turned off the tweeter. By removing the grille cover and inserting a cut out gift card wrapped with tape to hide the modification and hold the card in place (HF radios should cover 100Hz to 13kHz, turning off the tweeter ensured that unwanted noise and distortion were above 12-15kHz (guess where the mid/high crossover is located helps filter out. SSB requires 200-3500kHz max and ESSB requires 100-5kHz (some cut out at 15kHz (same for AM and FM)).The radio is already doing most of this filtering, but there may be IMD or other unwanted products coming out of the radio via the radio's audio amplifier. This causes listener fatigue, especially for those who can hear above 13kHz speaker line works fine straighten side bars again and d add a black RTV to hold it back in place in.
