I was a little disappointed. It was flattened into a gallon-sized ball of plastic wrap that took ages to unroll and then crumpled all over. It was hard to get him to sit up as he pulled him over the foam pads. You could see the creases in the cotton through the pillowcases. After a few days in the sun the cotton smoothed it out and the covered pillows looked ok but wouldn't buy again. I ordered the next cotton from Sailrite and it came out well on the roll and was much easier to use. Sailrite's cost was only slightly more, but it was worth it for a nicer product.
