Many years ago I lost my hammers in a shop fire. Now I only make a door or sash occasionally so I didn't need a high quality kit like I had. I had about $500 for these hammers. When I saw these for $42 I thought they wouldn't be very good. Surprise! The blocks are very good and easy to hang. The Hammers themselves are actually very good. The grips are made of soft plastic so should absorb shock if you're going for a long run that's going to take time. My two biggest tasks are a door that some bad parents threw a huge rock at, and a wing that pushes against a tree in my forest. I've done enough of this kind to know I don't even have to draw them when I'm done. This set is perfect for both. If there are any downsides I'll update this review when I'm done. Don't be put off by the low price. This is a great set.
