This makes squeezing the caliper pistons together to change pads a little easier than using C-clamps or channel locks, which I've always done in the past. Special tools always make the job easier. This tool seems to be of decent quality and should last a while, the plastic/nylon handle feels premium and durable, this is the only part of the build I noticed while wearing it.
