Update 04/25/17: I have two of these in purple, one of which I ordered in June 2016. I just noticed that one of them has developed a hole in the middle of the fabric which is very disappointing. I have no idea how it happened. It's still very comfortable, but I think anything I do to fix it will make it less comfortable and possibly more visible, since any kind of repair (darning, fraying, or sewing a small piece of fabric over it) will cause that becomes fabric is not smooth. I hope the other two I have last a little longer. ------ I love my purple haramaki! The color is amazing (I would call it a light plum). I am so satisfied that I will order more. I bought it in spring so I only wore it spring and fall. My guess is that it might not be as useful in New England winters. I've worn the Haramaki day, night and on my period and sometimes I feel so comfortable I forget I'm wearing it. Yes, the fabric is thin, but it's not noticeable under clothing. I can tuck it into leggings and it doesn't feel uncomfortable or add noticeable bulk because it's so thin. Haramaki only seems to help retain your body heat. If you're not dressed warmly, it probably won't help.
