Review on Toshiba SD-V391 Progressive Scan Silver DVD-VCR Combo for Enhanced Online Visibility by Joshua Mejia

I bought the SD-V391 for my son for Christmas. I chose Toshiba because I felt it was a better and more reliable brand. The day after Christmas he called me and said the machine had snatched the DVD and wasn't throwing it away. He eventually discovered that unplugging the device would restart it and he could then remove the DVD. I contacted Revane who was great. They immediately sent a replacement which I received two days later. That works great. Aside from the frustration of having a broken Christmas present and having to wait extra days before returning the broken one, we're happy. Reading other reviews I see that many had an issue with the door not opening. Come on Toshiba, if you want to keep a good reputation, you have to do better.
