Keep searching! Two defective locks in a row!

If you are reading this review you are probably considering buying this Trimax hitch lock. think again My experience with this lock was terrible. Bought in 2016 and less than two years later (lifetime warranty) it broke. I was about to take it off when we were done camping and the key slots weren't lined up. In the tool box. Finally, using a screwdriver and a hammer, I lined up the slots and removed the latch. Bad experience when you need to be somewhere and can't connect the trailer because you can't remove the lock. Contacted Trimax and they quickly replaced the lock. I was impressed with their customer service. I thought I had just received a faulty lock and happily started using a replacement lock for the first time. About 15 months later, guess what? With an RV and it's time to go Key locations have moved AGAIN! Exactly the same problem as before. Couldn't unlock. This time the trick with grease, screwdriver and hammer failed. Luckily I found a guy with a grinder that cut the lock in about 10 seconds. I contacted Trimax again and explained the problem to them. They send a replacement lock. I'm not a rocket surgeon, but two locks have the same problem and you want me to put it back on my trailer? Fool me once shame on you. Fool me three times, shame on me. I asked for a refund. Rejected as bought by Revain. For real? Do you sell a product with a lifetime guarantee and do not refund money if the product fails twice? For real? Consider yourself forewarned.
