I've used other gloves that were heavier than these and worked reasonably well, but after a while the material became stiff and the harness could slip out of my hands. When received these gloves were thinner and not as big. But I was pleasantly surprised on both sides: On the one hand, the grip of the gloves is still very good even when washing dishes with dishwashing liquid. If excess soap sticks to the glove and makes it slippery, simply hold it under the tap for a moment and the soap will wash away and the glove will return to its original condition. Second, although the sizing isn't as large as other gloves I've had, the better "feel" allows for a better wash. I will monitor how they perform over time but am currently planning on buying another pair.
