Suitable. Nicely done. Simple design. The 2.5" dimension from the back of the flange to the center of the hole is not the same as the actual part. The actual part accounts for the welds that hold the flange in place. The distance from the welds to the center of the hole is 2.5 inches, which allows the adapter to be fully inserted and the holes to line up. So if you have a receiver with a center hole 2.5 inches from the back this will work fine.
