Works great on Linux - just plug and play
I connected this sound card to my computer with Lubuntu/Ubuntu 18.10 (Linux Kernel v4.18.0) and the sound card was automatically detected. All I had to do was set the device as the default audio device (i.e. right click on the tray mixer). I haven't tried any of the buttons, but the volume control works well. If you type lsusb at the command prompt, this device will show up as ID 0c76:1695 JMTek, LLC.
