I see many people cry about how the temporary cover burned out and leave negative feedback. Remove the coating in a way that is convenient for you. Go to your local auto parts store and buy high temperature manifold paint. Apply multiple layers to the headers. The fit was perfect. I have angled plugs with short plugs and short plug wires so there is no problem with the gap between plug and head.
