Great reviews on this cage so it was easy. When I first got a fancy hamster, she came out a day later and I took her back to petco. We have another female but a bit bigger than a hamster, she was so great but we left fully prepared for our RV shelter cabin for 2 days. When we got back she climbed out of the bed just like the first one. My husband and I are super paranoid and love animals, double checked every hole before leaving, didn't want to leave her, her name was Macaroni and she was very sweet. The top shelf/pipe is a defect of the product, it doesn't repair well and the top half comes off easily, apparently X2. Let's get to the puppy, sir
