Great for small breeds

In my opinion the ideal cage for dwarf hamsters or mice. I bought this for 2 teddy bears and found it too small for this breed. Also the ideal cage for older owners. I bought this for my 5 year old and it didn't hold up too well just because of the rough play with the top green ball.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Other interesting options available.

The part is made of plastic and quite small. didn't live

The product is made of plastic and is quite small. Wasn't up to the quality I could have expected considering the "name" is all over the place. Some items refused to "click" together and I was so afraid that the prongs on the items would "break" when connected. So I sent it back and will find something else for our family hamster. Which ended up being too big for the pipes.

  • Very good price

Great for critters.

Ideal for pets after assembly. Huge tread and fun environment. However, the many small clips, which can easily break when disassembled for cleaning, make it difficult to properly fit the center cage into the tracks and clips of the base and lid. It takes about 30 minutes to disassemble, clean and assemble. Some parts get finicky with each new cleaning and start breaking or don't fit as well as they did at first. Costs money, but be gentle and patient.

Pros
  • Handy part
Cons
  • Easy repairability

Funny in theory, but loud and easy to break

Updated. after a few months more plastic parts broke and now the hamster runs away about once a week. Poorly. My daughter loves this cage for her hamster. It's fun to watch the hamster go through the tunnels and run in the ball/running wheel. However, after 1 month the latch on the lookout tower broke so we had to tape it up to keep the animal from escaping. Then the piece holding the ball broke, but we saved it too. In addition, it is very noisy when the hamster runs around in the ball/wheel…

  • Cool product
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Broken top bed rail

Great reviews on this cage so it was easy. When I first got a fancy hamster, she came out a day later and I took her back to petco. We have another female but a bit bigger than a hamster, she was so great but we left fully prepared for our RV shelter cabin for 2 days. When we got back she climbed out of the bed just like the first one. My husband and I are super paranoid and love animals, double checked every hole before leaving, didn't want to leave her, her name was Macaroni and she was very…

Great habitat if you follow the directions!

I love these habitats and won't buy any other. I have had rats, hamsters, ferrets, guinea pigs and even a rescued chipmunk in the past, now we have house mice. I see some horrible reviews here that are OBVIOUS operator errors for not paying attention to pet size or setup instructions. A rodent of the appropriate size cannot enter or escape the trap. The review states that the bead falls out instead of screwing in the blue plastic screw and installing the yellow end as shown in the instructions.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Artist's Hamster Escape

We ordered one and had to return it as one of the plastic brackets broke. The second was also damaged. The wire boards were bent when it arrived but we have already received the hamster and not sent it back. I carefully folded the poles back and we were able to set it up. It's easy enough to assemble but still took 3 hands. The biggest problem is that the hamster can get out! For weeks we had to endure every night the hamster escaping the cage (if you wanted to add more tubes) through tube…

Do not buy! Hamsters can get stuck!

Terrible! I bought three as we had three hamsters, as soon as they came in the hamsters got stuck in one tunnel or the other and all three didn't have working water bottles, the poor hamsters didn't have water for a day and a half. Don't save money. Luckily I only bought one here and the other two from petco and they took it back after use. I'm sure this company won't do that. Very disappointed as the poor hamsters could have died from getting stuck or dehydrated. I had to remove all the tubing

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Too bad I didn't look at YouTube reviews before buying this cage. She points out all the disadvantages - I agree with her. My daughter had a hamster for two days when it died. To be fair, death cannot be associated with a cell. The pet store said he might be older than they thought. He was grown up. It was difficult for him to move around the pipes. He slept upside down the first night, now I understand he's probably stuck. I made him a place to sleep on the bike so he has nowhere to train. The

  • Very impressive

  • Not bad
