Too bad I didn't look at YouTube reviews before buying this cage. She points out all the disadvantages - I agree with her. My daughter had a hamster for two days when it died. To be fair, death cannot be associated with a cell. The pet store said he might be older than they thought. He was grown up. It was difficult for him to move around the pipes. He slept upside down the first night, now I understand he's probably stuck. I made him a place to sleep on the bike so he has nowhere to train. The water bottle is dark blue, so the water level in the bottle is difficult to see. I checked the drip many times and wasn't sure if the water was coming out. I suspect the first hamster may have died from dehydration. This cage cannot be disassembled for cleaning. It was just as difficult to get together. I started a return which was very easy and hassle free. When I send it back, it is basically attached. Thank goodness for an easy return from Kohl's. We bought a Favola hamster cage which arrived yesterday. My daughter's new hamster (replaced by the pet store) loves the Favola hamster cage. He lived in the Critter Trail Habitat while awaiting the arrival of the Favola cage. While I poured a small amount of water into a plate of food in the Critter Trail habitat, I don't think the water bottle is working properly. Big difference to his new home! He likes his new home in Fawola. He drives now! We have a lot of fun watching him at Easy Viewing!
