Our pool rail was in need of some work since the previous owners had it painted. My husband was going to take it down to bare metal again. However, the rail is in direct sunlight all day and evening and would become very HOT. This fits perfect and looks nice also. It was easy to install, although it took two people to get it on neatly. Our pool maintenance people noticed it immediately and commented how nice it looked. And, my brother was visiting and has a boat that he needed something to hold his shore wires/hoses running to his boat. He was looking for something weather resistant that would still look nice and be easy to handle.he was ordering one of these.
