Review on ASUS VP229HE: The Ultimate 21.5" HD Monitor with Adaptive Sync, Frameless Design, and Blue Light Filter by Saurabh Ngo

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good, but not up to date

I bought these to upgrade two older, smaller monitors without cluttering my desk with a dual monitor mount. I work from home and often go through multiple files, spreadsheets, drawings, etc. and can never go back to one or fewer monitors. I find the 24" models to be well balanced and not too large, especially when seated at the table in front of them. Quality and sharpness are adequate. They sit somewhere between unnamed budget brands and high-end versions. As many others have said, they are Setup menus awkward to navigate and use, but you don't usually have to adjust them too often.I wish the manufacturers had a guide on what each setting means without having to search for something online..Did I say I did hate the OSD settings menu? Otherwise they were quite cheap and I'm happy with their quality. FYI, they have 100x100mm VESA mounting holes. I would recommend them for use as mine. I've attached a picture just showing mine Configuration shows I wasn't concerned about getting a picture of them working as a monitor picture is useless to show picture quality Sellers I try to provide helpful, unbiased u nd to write informative reviews because I also read reviews before I make my own purchasing decision. I have found that many reviews lack useful information, are poorly written, or give poor reviews because they have not read the instructions, are inexperienced, or cannot read product information before purchasing. Writing valuable reviews helps pay in advance.
