. So I don't understand all the negative reviews about the smell and this rug? For the price it couldn't be better! I paid $12! Mine had a normal smell and not a strong one at all, and yes it does have a slight formaldehyde smell like any fabric you buy new from a store or store because they are covered in it! I don't need to wash it anyway, but when I do I'll gently chill it in my front loader! Very strong and durable and the perfect thickness for a table rail. Also, my carpet's colors are actually lighter than my camera's 😊 Some say it's too thick and I disagree. Yes you play with the color you get but I bought one in very good condition to save a few bucks and was pleasantly surprised by the lovely bright pink and blue colors I need to go with mine boho dining room to match! The colors suited me and I was totally willing to wash for the smell and hang it outside and/or send it back to play with a different color to match my dining room, but I was pleasantly surprised and it worked ! 😊 And one more thing, I measured my table to make sure it would fit and yes it is sized right at a 72" and I haven't had any issues with it like some! Hangs just the right amount! Thank you thank you!
