I have used these binoculars for many years. These are excellent binoculars when used correctly. These binoculars are large and heavy, so they are not designed for observing moving objects. Especially with high magnification, you will have difficulties finding the object at all due to the high magnification. Without a sturdy tripod, you'll tire quickly and find it difficult to capture your subject easily. However, if you use these binoculars with a tripod to observe stationary or very slow-moving objects, these binoculars are an excellent choice. You must first use the lowest zoom to find the object and then slowly zoom in to a higher level. I would say that these binoculars cannot be used without a tripod and it comes with a tripod adapter! With a tripod you can even use these binoculars for stargazing as some small astronomical telescopes are only 60mm in diameter while this binocular has two 70mm telescopes.
