I have to admit that the quality is better than expected given the source. There are a few minor imperfections on the cap threads on the stem and some hard debris that needs cleaning from the bore mating surfaces and inside the acorn nut. The rod threads are quite coarse and the rod seems to want to screw in at an angle during the first turns. Both this MT4 shank and the MT3 shank chucks I ordered passed the 0.002" runout test in holes. So a 0.002 inch runout could be the standard for Chinese imports. All in all, I think the price-performance ratio is great and I will probably get a third MK2 shaft chuck for another tool.
