Beware of buying these throws. There is a chemical smell that just won't leave. To make matters worse, don't miss the fine print that says these throws must be HAND washed. Hand washing a bulky item like this is difficult at best. So that means you can't throw it in the washer to get the smell out. I sprayed it with Lysol spray multiple times and it had no effect on the smell. I aired it out for days. Still the smell remains -- just as strong as ever. I will next try hand washing it and hanging it on the railing outside to dry. I am very disappointed. I bought 5 of these and sent them as gifts. I didn't realize that it had to be hand washed until I had sent them off. Now for the follow up phone calls to apologize!
