Review on Sage Kitchenware Stainless Ceramic Mechanism by Jerry Estrada

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It separated right above the metal bottom case (TWICE!)

Both I tried broke and separated right above the metal bottom case where the plastic met and with the matched metal body and grinder mechanism. He ground the salt very well, quickly and fairly accurately. But the second breaks in the same place and in the same way. became a deal breaker. So I have to go to a Cole & Mason salt grinder to match my Cole & Mason pepper grinder (the salt grinder uses a ceramic grinding mechanism so the moisture in the loose salt doesn't corrode it). It's too bad what they're doing. Don't make the Sage stronger and more durable by connecting the salt tube to the grinding mechanism because Cole & Mason is about 2.5 times more expensive.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
