I have used Purdy brushes for many years. I still use brushes that I have had for over 20 years. I've been waiting for my kitchen cabinet doors to be finished. Smooth; smooth. No stripes. Update: This is the easiest brush to clean. Latex paint is simply washed off. No need to add dish soap and comb through with a metal comb. The color just slides off. The material the brush is made of must be something new, as cleaning old brushes takes time and effort.
