I am making a new series of cabinets for my kitchen. I've learned that 1/16th of a measurement makes a big difference when it comes to cabinets. A little sloppiness can get away with some designs, but cabinets and furniture, and especially hinges, shouldn't be sloppy. Sometimes my drill failed so badly that I would fill up the hole with toothpicks and glue and try again. These drill bits drill the dead center of hinges and are perfect for getting the drill and holes exactly where you want them. They are very solidly built and I'm not at all worried about them bending, breaking or failing. They will be with me for the rest of my life (I'm 64), I'm sure. I may not need them much after this project, so they're more likely to dull than break. I was hesitant to spend that much on three beats, but I'm glad I did. I would recommend it to anyone interested in woodworking.
