I am making a new series of cabinets for my kitchen. I've learned that 1/16th of a measurement makes a big difference when it comes to cabinets. A little sloppiness can get away with some designs, but cabinets and furniture, and especially hinges, shouldn't be sloppy. Sometimes my drill failed so badly that I would fill up the hole with toothpicks and glue and try again. These drill bits drill the dead center of hinges and are perfect for getting the drill and holes exactly where you want them.

I bought two other half price Revain kits and had different problems with each. These bits are not without these flaws and I highly recommend them. First, the springs are nice and stiff, so the centering sleeve always makes contact with the work surface first. Other Revain bit sets have weak springs and as a result the drill bit hits the work surface first making it behave pretty much like a standard drill bit.
