UPDATE (July 27th 2021): After posting this review I decided to dig deeper and find out why the VGA -Connection of the adapter was not working like that. After a few hours of research, the problem I was having was related to my drivers. I removed the Intel driver for my laptop, which didn't really help much. Since that didn't budge, I checked for graphics driver updates from Intel - to my surprise there were one and countless others unrelated to my issue. I installed every update my laptop found, rebooted, went back and uninstalled the graphics drivers, plugged in the VGA cable - and it worked! At first I thought this issue was due to faulty hardware, but luckily that wasn't the case. . I will consider returning the cable I just ordered due to this issue. Hopefully this means this hub will last as long as I need it now. I ordered this USB-C hub for my Lenovo Yoga 730 because I needed a VGA port and an Ethernet port that supports gigabit internet. It's been working great for about a month now! Aside from the short USB-C cable, I liked the product until the VGA port suddenly stopped working. The screen began to flicker; and when I unplugged and plugged the cable back in, my monitor stopped displaying the image. I checked again if it was just one cable with another - it still didn't work. I also checked my monitor to see if they were at fault on another computer, but they worked there. I will continue to use this product with other ports as it still works well. It's just a shame that you have to buy a separate adapter for your monitor
