Cheap, cheap: kitchen napkins and towels

These cotton fiber kitchen towels are flimsy and do not absorb moisture well. They work to dry cutlery and polish glasses or to dry lettuce leaves and the like. But for drying dishes, pots and pans, they are practically ineffective. They do not dry out the countertop. But since they're made of cotton fibers, I never expected them to absorb moisture like cotton terry. I was hoping they would be true to size and that they could be washed and dried without changing shape. But no. They are terrible: outside of the packaging, they are different sizes. Washing (cold water/low dry) only makes the situation worse. They come in different sizes and I tried three different colors. Edges are wavy/curved. The material curls up and does not lie flat. waffle hem. The corners don't match. Good as a window cleaner. Good enough for drying vegetables to be colored. The green color is correctly represented on this product page.

Pros
  • โœ… ECO-FRIENDLY: 100% natural ring-spun cotton, these towels are the perfect replacement for paper towels. Reuse those towels over and over again and cut down on paper towels. The tea towel looks great on the stove, the home bar or in the living room as a tea towel.
Cons
  • Low reparability
