I was concerned about the quality and finish after reading some reviews. However, it is quick and easy to assemble. Attention was paid to every detail and the instructions were more than adequate. We had no problems! The frame is very strong and the perfect height. We ordered a heavy latex mattress that needs less than 3 inches of spacing between the slats to provide proper support. We purchased wooden slats from Revain that fit this requirement and added some zip ties to hold them in place. The end result was perfect, supporting the mattress at a fraction of the price of other options. We love the shape of this frame and it looks beautiful too. I hope this helps someone else in the same predicament as it's impossible to find an affordable option with fins so close together.
