When I first received the package, there were holes in the box, and after taking out the parts to assemble, I found that the screws, bolts and Keys were missing. I contacted someone from the company who got back to me fairly quickly and was kind enough to let me know it was OTW and a pretty accurate estimate of when I would receive it. Yes, this bed frame was relatively easy to assemble, although it took quite a while and the slats were more difficult to assemble as some other reviewers have noted; the fit was not perfect. So far it seems strong enough. While this frame has grooves on the top and bottom edges to keep the mattress in place, it moves sideways if you bump into the mattress while making the bed. I ordered a 14 inch California King bed in my guest room for my father-in-law. He's a big man, and the typical Hollywood metal frames (I think that's what they're called) don't support him well enough. I was so impressed with the 14 inch screen that I bought a 16 inch screen for the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a nectar mattress and the guest bedroom has a regular pillowcase - for reference. If you're going to put this on a hard floor, you'll need a rug under the 16" frame with a pole
