We spent more than two hours trying to insert the wires into the socket and finally found that the bottom plate that was supposed to attach to the screw had broken off and was floating in the socket. The next morning we went to Maynard's and bought another one and it was hooked up in 5 minutes. This product was a waste of money. The design is terrible. The screw goes through the plates which should compress the wire and hold it in place, making it impossible to hold the wire well. If it comes loose, each screw becomes a hot spot, risking melting the entire box. As this is a RV plug, this is very important! Save yourself some money and peace of mind and buy it locally.
