These are great buttons and a much nicer tone than the more expensive versions. The metal is a brushed brass finish with a warm golden hue. Not yellow brass. They have a hollow metal core and are lighter than full metal pens. To me, these handles are meant to be an aesthetically pleasing way to open cabinets rather than drag the boat, eliminating the need for a hard core. They are sturdy, functional and have completely transformed my kitchen cabinets! The tone complements any paint color. The first two photos are on caviar cabinets, the third photo is on a dark green-gray cabinet. The last photo is a before photo. I buy more for every closet in the house!
