I chose this bag because I liked its size and portability and the way it opens. I also liked the metallic thread that came with the kit. I have an embroidery machine that I will use it with. You can also use it for sewing. It also comes with some other filaments that are non-metallic. On top of the box are the metal threads you see from the front. There are 4 coils. The rest of the threads are not metallic but are a nice color. They are all life size and there are 14 of them. The next field is empty and you can fill it. I put extra sewing machine feet in it. I have a walking foot, 1/4 seam foot, buttonhole foot, three different piping feet and sewing needles for my machine. The next level has two side drawers that swing to the side. One of them contains 4 small spools of metallic thread, 8 small spools of colored thread and 12 pre-wound spools of different thread colors. They also included a dozen blank rolls. The next drawer has compartments with hinged lids. You have to pull it out all the way to get to the back as it is hinged in the middle. In this box they place various buttons, buttons, hooks, hand sewing needles, small safety pins, two needle threaders, a thimble, and sewing needles. This box gives you the space to do whatever you want. The last box is a big box, with scissors, tape measure, seam ripper, small pincushion and metal seam ruler. I was able to fit my large Gingher scissors and a magnetic needle holder. I had no idea there were so many things in it. It opens and closes with a latch at the bottom and you have to open it all the way up to access all the drawers. I like that it's clear and I can see the currents from above. It's beautiful and I'm very happy about it. I don't need a typical sewing box to rummage through. This ensures order. You can even label the front of the drawers so you know what you have in each drawer. I'm thinking about doing this with my labeling machine.
