But they are quite difficult to use as they are difficult to attach. In fact, I don't think I've ever closed them completely. But they keep completely closed. I think they will last longer than more traditional plastic markers which tend to break after being used more than a few times. Also, if you use them with a lighter yarn than DK, it can be difficult to slide the end of the marker through the stitch.
