Buyers beware, although the packaging advises you to replace after FIVE years, if it breaks sooner they tell you the warranty is only ONE year! Our initial RV lasted about two years, then random alarms for no reason. Always in the middle of the night! I ended up taking it off and ordering another, then called and expected it to be replaced. nope! It passed a one year warranty (not advertised). However, I feel better with it in my van than without it and this brand is exactly what we have it for. Just don't expect it to take five years like they say.
