35 mm 1.4 on FF is a very pleasant and convenient focal length. I recommend him to everyone. But my copy does not want to be friends with the D700. The focus behaves unpredictably, there is little sharpness at 1.4. I really regret that I bought it for $1800 and not a similar sigma for $900. Surprisingly, the D600 behaves completely differently. The focus works stably, predictably, at 1.4 it rings. All the same, apparently there is a sense from a larger number of megapixels. In short, not the best choice for an amateur. I planned another 24 1.4G, but now I'll wait for an analogue from Sigma. Wouldn't buy a second time. : All the same, I bought the original 24 1.4 - and did not regret it, the lens pleases and now there is something to compare with. This 35 is really soapy, apparently this is not a bug, but a "feature". On the Sony A99, I took 35 sigma - it is better and cheaper, but with the current rate there are no options.
