The perfect product for any user!

Pros below: Great picture. Excellent sharpness at any aperture. Holds backlight exceptionally well. Its cons: Well, sooooo slow! Quite slow! And not the cheapest. I use it on d3s and d800

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

The glass is worthwhile, if there is a need for this focal length, then take it unequivocally, and you don’t need to listen to fables about flaws, this glass doesn’t have them, it’s just that the toad strangles some comrades and they scratch all sorts of nonsense, I think it has no analogues, the design is excellent, everything adjusted to the smallest detail, hence the weight is not small, but it sits perfectly on the camera. I am very satisfied, I use it with the D700, there are no…

Pros
  • 1.4 working at 100%, I didn’t even expect it, the focusing speed is lightning fast, the design is excellent, the background blurs gorgeously, I really like the picture.
Cons
  • The price is high, everything else is great

Not the best quality, but overall not bad.

35 mm 1.4 on FF is a very pleasant and convenient focal length. I recommend him to everyone. But my copy does not want to be friends with the D700. The focus behaves unpredictably, there is little sharpness at 1.4. I really regret that I bought it for $1800 and not a similar sigma for $900. Surprisingly, the D600 behaves completely differently. The focus works stably, predictably, at 1.4 it rings. All the same, apparently there is a sense from a larger number of megapixels. In short, not the…

Pros
  • + Constructive +Microcontrast + Holds back perfectly + Dust-moisture protection + Moderate focus speed +Dimensions\weight
Cons
  • -Unpredictable focus on my D700 -Soapy open at 1.4 on my D700 - Lots of plastic in construction -Price

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

I use glasses 24-70 2.8, 70-200 2.8, 85 1.4, 105 2.8 micro, so I compare with them (on the d700 carcass) - focusing speed loses to everyone except 70-200 + fantastic sharpness and accuracy even at open to 1.4 and minimum focusing distance + convenient focal length for shooting people! + distortion of the picture by 35 only adds artistry! + solid and reliable looks It’s not the first day I shoot, but when I put on this glass I was happy like a child . I exhausted both my wife and the cat…

Pros
  • awesome picture, razor sharpness and very convenient focal length for walking! as well as a comfortable design! fully working 1.4 with amazing sharpness!
Cons
  • focusing speed . faster than on the D series, but slower than 24-70 2,8 G or 50mm 1,4 . but I expected more speed . but this does not matter

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

My primary and favorite lens is the 70-200 2.8G VRII, but it lacks a wide angle. For a long time I was looking for what to take, there were many fixes of the low and medium price range, there was 35-70 2.8 D, and so I decided to try the top fix. The first impression is aperture 1.4. Stunned. No flash needed. In dim light, just take and photograph. In this case, the photos are clear, sharp. As for the blur, here 35 loses a little 70-200. This is my personal opinion, but the picture is still…

Pros
  • Excellent color reproduction, fast, sharp, quiet and fast focusing motor, very, very nice bokeh. I didn't notice any side vignetting.
Cons
  • I took a used one for 55 thousand. The price for such an instance is quite acceptable. A new one costs about 100 thousand. Fix is not a zoom, you need to get used to it.

Excellent product, the best quality.

I have AF-S Nikkor 24-70 \ 2 / 8G in my arsenal, but I wanted exactly 35 mm. This focal length is very convenient for me. You can shoot anything except portraits of course. Shooting 24-70 \ 2.8, it was not always possible to blur the background as we would like, even at a focus of 70 mm. Otherwise, 24-70 suits me completely. 50 \ 1.4 was once but did not suit the focus. Wide angle is not enough. I had to dance a lot . and it’s not always possible to leave. In general, 35 mm is the most for me…

Pros
  • 1. Working 1.4 2. Excellent color rendering and contrast. 3. Sharpness and amazing resolution even at 1.4. 4. Workmanship at the highest level . yes, just a handsome man. 5. The picture turns out so . airy or something. 6. At 1.4, the background is torn to shreds even with full-length shots. 7. Dust-moisture protection. 8. Made in Japan.
Cons
  • Expensive . very expensive . and again expensive.
