impractical for traveling

I've figured out how I'm progressing after practicing about 5 hours in 2 weeks. driving fun. This is how it works: after pushing off, place one leg dorsal and the other leg ventral. Then, while the wheels are at an angle, move the dorsal leg ventrally and the ventral leg dorsally so that the wheels convert the ventral-dorsal motion into forward motion. bumpy sidewalks. I tend to stop at a tiny pothole or lose speed quickly on rough ground. It's also hard to go uphill, even at high speed. I don't know how it compares to other skateboards. After all, it was impractical for any kind of commuting. It's quite a hassle to hold onto when you're carrying them in place, while I think skateboards are easier to place on the ground/lean against a wall.
