I use it to cycle back and forth to work and any other place I need to commute. This phone holder was very secure. I've never had a phone that looked like it was about to fall out. There is a handle on the back that locks the holder and prevents the clasp from opening until you open the lock again. It's very safe. There is rubber around the edges to cushion the phone and prevent it from slipping. It also helps protect your phone. All in all a very solid choice. Also, you can rotate your phone to any angle, so you can use it both vertically and horizontally. It doesn't lock and the only thing I would like is to have it lock in place somehow because sometimes when I'm riding rough pavement and I assume I should be off-road it can curl up a bit. Overall I love it and have recommended it to many of my racing buddies!
