Perfect for what I need, a giant photo album with a stylish touch. I put at most three photos in a slot (if you have multiple or very similar photos) and the portrait slots are slightly higher to allow for more room and PLACE PHOTO TAIL STRIPS! Bought all 3 colors as I have lots of photos. and my favorite color by far is the middle shade "brown”. I took pictures of all three, the embossing can be hard to see at some angles, but it's there and you can feel it (I personally really like it). So yes, I recommend! Just note that the slipcovers are faux leather and quite soft so if stuck on a shelf they might be difficult to get out. Definitely heavy and thick (technically there are about 700 photos in the album), but that's not the album's fault. It's annoying that the pages fall off by themselves when you pick them up at the spine (very difficult to hold with one hand and I know that if it were a harder cover this problem would be solved).
