We have a German shorthair pointer, he loves tearing up things but hasn’t torn up his bed! He loves it. Only flaw I’ve seen in this is I couldn’t find where the washing instructions were so we washed it in the tub & it kept so much water in it, it was hard to ring out but dried in the dryer really good. Don’t wash in the washer, the fabric on the outside will tear
