New to car audio? Look here.

If you're anything like me you have no idea what you're doing when it comes to car audio. That's why I decided to leave some tips along with my review to save you some research time. (Bottom Paragraph - Overview) - This radio conforms to the DIN standard (general radio size for most vehicles). If the radio you are replacing is over two inches, you will also need to purchase a dashboard for your double to single din radio slot. You will also need to attach the metal grommet that came with the radio, as well as your new dash kit. You need a wiring harness that fits your vehicle model. This allows the power and speaker wires supplied with the radio to be connected to the speaker and power wires in the car. To do this, simply match the wire colors of the radio to the wire colors of the wiring harness. Either solder the ends together or wrap them around each other and put a protective cap over them. Also ensure this before connecting the wiring harness to the vehicle. Make sure you connect all radio wires to the wire harness. There will likely be more wires on the harness than you need. Ignore unused wires. Also, sometimes your car can have more wires than the radio needs. ignore her This radio has a 4 channel output. This means that only four speakers are connected. It also has amplifier outputs if you want to connect more speakers. Connect the wiring harness and antenna cable to the back of the radio and you are done. Some people recommend disconnecting the battery just to be safe Rating: Great radio for the price. I was expecting a cheap plastic cover. I am a trained musician and I am very satisfied with the sound quality. Many people think that the blue LED is too bright at night, in fact, it is much less bright than oncoming traffic headlights. The case that comes with the radio is a bit tricky to install, but a little creativity doesn't help. I also saw some reviews complaining about the volume. Each speaker has a maximum output of 50W, which is more than enough to scare your doctor and piss off your cutest neighbors. Don't be such an idiot. Overall this radio is exactly what I expected for the money with better sound quality than I thought it would.
