This is a basic bike carrier that can be attached to a trailer hitch. It's only good for a total weight of 80 pounds, which should work for most other than e-bikes or other heavy bikes. It folds down to open the rear doors of a van or SUV. However, on our Metris, the left door rests against the vertical piece that holds the swing arm, so it doesn't open fully. It comes with a hitch tensioner because it needs one. This is a piece of metal that attaches to this bracket and hitch with a U-bolt, otherwise it will come loose in the hitch. Comes with everything you need except bike locks and hitch bolts - you'll want them. It's not black, but rather dark grey.
