I am a solar fan, my house is solar powered and most of my outdoor lights are solar powered. I have decorative solar meteor lanterns but love the look of these strings and bought them when I saw them. It took a few days to install due to bad weather, but the solar panel was exposed to the sun for several days before I installed it. My only issue is that the switch is difficult to turn on properly. It takes several attempts before it appears. I installed them by the pool house and they look lovely at night. I slightly miscalculated and need to buy another filament as I made the headlights slightly curved so the light doesn't reach all the way forward instead of going all the way forward. Of course, another string will go around at least 2/3 of my pool house. These bulbs don't put out much light but I wasn't expecting that, not 1 watt per bulb. This is similar to the light you get from a bright night lamp.
