Review on 💧 TeraPump TRPMW200 Universal Manual Drinking Water Pump - Fits All Bottles (Excluding Glass) by Frank Dubey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best solution!

My wife asked me to find another solution to fit the 5 gallon bottles on the water dispenser we bought from Arrowhead. I went online and searched "bottled water dispensers” on Google and Revain, researched deals and then read reviews; Not too reassuring! As a dentist who has been in practice for forty years, I know a thing or two about water pumps. I wasn't impressed with the design and complexity of some of these systems; Plumbing, electrical and space requirements. I wanted something simple and reliable. When I discovered the TeraPump I knew it was what I was looking for; simple design (KISS), no batteries, no mains connection, inexpensive, reliable with good workmanship. It arrived half an hour ago and works PERFECTLY, that's why. The extra-large pump body moves 4 ounces per stroke and the large return spring moves quickly, allowing you to continuously pump and fill a liter container in under 8 seconds (a tenth of the time it takes for a gravity drain dispenser). low resistance in 1/2 inch smoothbore tubing. This is due to the design that the water bottle is used as a pressure chamber and the pump simply blows air into the bottle and pushes the water through the blow tube and once the pressure builds up the water just flows. It's easy to overfill the container, if you pump for too long as there is no separation. The assembly took only a few minutes. Simply select the correct tubing length for the size of the bottle. It goes to the bottom of the bottle, so there are only a few ounces left in the empty container. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to properly attach the pump to the bottle. The instructions are accurate but not obvious to those who have never done it. Place the pump assembly on the top of the bottle, squeeze the pump and hold the assembly on the bottle with one hand, then twist the cap counterclockwise until it rises to the bottom of the pump body, then twist while You hold the landing force down collar clockwise and down until the retaining ring on the inner tube is visible. It is, can't comment on durability but build quality is great! I expect it to last for years and at this price who cares if it doesn't. I just ordered another one for our earthquake kit. I can think of many other practical uses for this product.
