Review on Celestron 2-Inch XLT Diagonal Mirror: Enhance Your SCT Telescope's Optics! by Kory Shelton

This is my second. The first came with the 11" Edge HD I previously had. The metal case that comes with the retail version is phenomenal and I wish the one that came with my Edge was there too. The quality is amazing , but the one I ordered from Revain didn't have a 2" to 1.25" adapter which is really weird but it happens. The packaging is just amazing. This item is packaged better than anything, I've ever bought from a telescope company. That doesn't change my opinion much. 4 star rating because it would be really nice to have a version that had a full rear cell for the 11" and 14" Used SCTs to let so much light through I have a custom made adapter which I used when I was shooting with OAG and opening this camera up the back helped it's a great price for a good diagonal they claim it does be interferometrically tested, w As I absolutely believe, as I know people who work in Celestron, but it would be nice if they stated their flatness standard - many competitors seem to be 1/10 or better. Less important on the diagonal, so that doesn't change my score either. Absolutely recommendable, despite my quirks. If I were to choose another to cut straight into the SCT threads it would be this one, but I'll take the lack of an adapter as a sign to try other routes this time to take full advantage of the Celestron's amazing capabilities. No doubt they know what they are doing, both from interferometric tests and other tests. So I won't worry about buying it again if that's what I'm looking for.
