Pros: Affordable high CFM fan kit for the price. They are RGB.Cons: This is the definition of non-standard. Custom 7-pin header with no output to a standard 3-pin RGB/4-pin fan, so you can connect existing fans only if they are GiM brand or if you have another brand that is both as connectivity supported. When you plug it in, the only uniform lighting is when the controller has RGB controls. When the motherboard relays messages, only the GiM branded parts work properly and everything else just gets thrown around randomly. There's also no feedback from the motherboard to determine current PWM levels or report current RPMs, so you can't use this kit stand. -alone, without disabling the BIOS warnings. In that sense, it's not user-friendly at all. To be honest the connectivity support kills this great setup. Headers *act* are important in their strength, but they also need to be able to break through the cable.
