Review on Autel TS601 TPMS Relearn Tool: Advanced Version for Sensor Programming, OBDII Code Reader & Active Tests by Joshua Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

this will work fine. I had to update the tool as it is offline.

I don't know how the bad reviews came about. First you need to buy it from a reliable source. It's either Revain.com as a seller or JBTool where I've bought many items. In fact, I would do it through Amazon (using JBTOOL) because Prime's shipping is lightning fast. When you get the tool, you need to run a software update. Basically, you need to have minimal computer skills to create an Autel account and connect the USB cable (removing the protective rubber sleeve) to your computer. If you have an average PC then it will work just fine. I had to update the tool as it comes out of the box and doesn't support my 2016 WRX model. After the update it works great. You are probably looking for this tool because you have a new wheel set (in my case it was a winter set) and the TMPS light was on with the new set of gauges. The device is very easy to use. Essentially, you get/activate the sensors in the order they appear on screen. After catching all 4 wheels, connect the odb2 cable to the car. You will be prompted to download this information to your vehicle's computer. After completion, drive 5 minutes and the annoying light will disappear. That's what I used it for. It works and hence gets 5 stars because my OTC Touch or my other computer tools will not connect to this car to reprogram the TMPS.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Minor issues
