Easy to use good for tires and wheels

I put new rims, tires and TPMS sensors on my 2014 Challenger. The sensors were advertised as self-learning on Chrysler products. Suffice to say it didn't work. I could have the sensors programmed in the shop but as a DIYer I thought I would get the right tool for the job since I now have several cars with TPMS sensors. I bought the TS601 as it also has an OBDII code reader. Programming the new sensors was very easy by following the on-screen instructions. I can also use it to program Autel…

Combined TPMS/ODB-II system for "every " vehicle.

It's great to just have a tool to read/troubleshoot the TPMS system and be able to read the codes/information on the ODB-II bus. And it can be used for any vehicle due to the large installed vehicle database. TPMS ranges from simply reading a wheel to comparing 4 (5 if you have a spare) wheels to full diagnostics and troubleshooting, relearning and actually changing the ID number. TPM. I highly recommend this tool even for a weekend mechanic. Now you can help your friends.

Easy to use and with built in OBD II code reader

Great all in one tool that can read, troubleshoot and reprogram TPMS sensors. It also has the ability to access codes and information stored in the OBD-II system. It can be used with almost all makes, models and types of TPMS sensors. Unfortunately I wasn't able to use it in severe conditions like the Freightliner. This tool (TS601) is a bit confusing with the menu at first, it's very good and very powerful. This version has both a tire pressure sensor and an OBD reader. Not only does it read…

I really like the TPMS system

About a year and a half ago I returned to the snow country and found that I needed an extra set of winter wheels and tires for our cars. I love the TPMS idea and driving all winter with a tire sensor warning and no pressure reading was unacceptable. Bottom line: 4.5 stars if Revain would let me. A very powerful tool that works great if you know what you are doing. The printed manual is very, very poor, both written for an older version of the firmware and apparently translated from another…

The perfect tool for changing winter/summer tires on Subaru

Tired of the rush to fit winter tires before the first snow. Stores always booked weeks in advance, appointments always took longer than expected, didn't like paying $100 for a car, and lately stores don't even stock tires so you have to lug them home. The same story in the spring to remove the winter tires and remount the all-season tires. As our existing winter tires were nearing the end of their useful life, I decided to buy new winter tires/rims with TPMS sensors and start fitting them…

Easy to learn and use

I solved a TPMS issue (flashing then solid) on my Lexus RX350 and decided to fix the problem myself instead of going to the dealer. I got this device during Prime Day so I could salvage a couple of Jacksons. I figured that while the price might be comparable to what it might cost at a dealership to diagnose and fix my TPMS issue, the dealership cost was a one-time cost while buying this Autel would give me a reliable unit , with which I could solve a problem with TPMS in the future. problems…

this will work fine. I had to update the tool as it is offline.

I don't know how the bad reviews came about. First you need to buy it from a reliable source. It's either Revain.com as a seller or JBTool where I've bought many items. In fact, I would do it through Amazon (using JBTOOL) because Prime's shipping is lightning fast. When you get the tool, you need to run a software update. Basically, you need to have minimal computer skills to create an Autel account and connect the USB cable (removing the protective rubber sleeve) to your computer. If you have…

Good sensor scanner, bad TPMS programmer.

Note: If for any reason you do not find this review helpful, please indicate so in the comments. Be honest. I know this is a long read, but it's quite technical and thorough. If you don't like this, it's too long, just ignore it. Here is my experience with TS601. It generally performs 4 functions for TPMS: 1) scan sensors 2) reprogram sensors 3) retrain the car computer with new sensor IDs (via OBDII) 4) read the sensor IDs from the car computer (via OBDII). Yes, it scans sensors well. And it…
