Black and Decker no longer makes these batteries. I have 2 garden tools that require these old batteries. When I received them I checked the charge by putting them in the charger and they were fully charged as indicated by the charger. I kept one just in case and used both the next day. None of them worked like the old ones I replaced for this set. The tool started but did not reach the full power required for operation. I tried to use my garden tool but it slowly fails over the course of a few minutes. Now I am looking for gardening tools that use the new smaller batteries as these dinosaurs no longer work properly. I returned them.
