needle scaler works incredibly fast and removes rust, paint etc. It can clean metal in minutes to a smooth smooth surface ready for painting. Unfortunately, mine got hot very quickly. After about 10 minutes it got hot enough to burn meat. The maximum specified usage time is 30 minutes. It eventually overheated due to this problem. The top cap, which screws onto the needles to access the innards, has also been loosened no matter how twisted it is. I had to use tape to hold it together. He also lost 3 needles that I got from him in just 5-10 hours of use. I give it 2 stars because despite the issues I had, Swansoft fixed everything and gave me a full refund.
